This park comprises 173 acres along the Magruder Branch from Damascus Recreational Park south to Watkins Road. Primarily intended to conserve the environmentally-sensitive stream valley, the park is not developed for active recreation but welcomes visitors for such activities as hiking and birdwatching. Residents may also enjoy the Upper Magruder Stream Valley Park, which is located on the opposite (northern) side of Damascus Recreation Park.
